Postpartum Doula Support

Traditional Wisdom for Contemporary Women

Welcoming a new baby into the family is a precious and transformative time. Traditional wisdom recognizes a unique 42-day period after birth that calls for special care of both mother and baby. During this sacred window, a mother is encouraged to rest, receive support, and focus on recovery, rejuvenation, and bonding with her baby. The care a woman receives during this time can influence her health and well being for years to come.

Women caring for women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum is a timeless tradition. As a postpartum doula, I provide compassionate care as women transition into life with a new baby at home. Through nourishing meals, restorative practices, and traditional postpartum care, mothers are supported in rebuilding strength, caring for digestion, restoring vitality, and creating space for bonding and adjustment during this profound transition.

Caring for oneself after birth is not separate from caring for the baby. When mothers are supported, families thrive. By nurturing the health of mothers, we strengthen the foundation of the family and the wider community.
